Soulcalibur V to be delisted on June 19th

With most of the series titles having been delisted over the last three years, it’s time for Soulcalibur V to join its fallen brethren. The Soulcalibur Twitter account announced Sunday evening that Soulcalibur V will be delisted on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in just a week’s time on June 19th.

Valiant Warriors – Soul Calibur V is taking its final curtain call on the stage of history and will be sunset on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 19, 2023. The base game and all associated DLC will no longer be available for purchase. Thank you for your continued support.

Along with the game itself, its astounding 70+ pieces of DLC content will also be removed from sale including one additional character, Dampierre. For the next week you can download the game and its DLC on both PlayStation 3 (AU, EU, NA, JP) and Xbox 360 (AU, EU, NA, JP) or scoop up a physical copy before the prices start to climb.

After June 19th that will leave the latest entry in the series, 2018’s Soulcalibur VI, as the only mainline title available digitally. Peculiarly, the PSP exclusive SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny remains available to download across Asian and North American territories.

Thanks to everyone who pointed out the news on this one, I’ve added the date to the Watch List calendar and we’ll have a page up on the site later.
