Eternal Return shuts down Windows release on May 10th, Steam migration begins

Developer Nimble Neuron announced on March 31st that the Windows PC release of Eternal Return will be shutting down on May 10th. The studio opened a migration process on March 29th for players of the Windows version looking to bring their progress over to the Steam release. This migration service will be offered through August 30th even after the Widows version is retired. The Korean PC release available through Kakao Games also appears to be unaffected by this news.

Microsoft Service (MS) for Eternal Return is slated to end on Wednesday, May 10th after maintenance (PT). However, you can transfer your MS account to Steam, and continue to play Eternal Return using the same account information (such as name, level, and currency) via the Steam account.

Transfer service for MS → Steam will begin on Wednesday, March 29th (PT), and you will no longer be able to create a new account or make new purchases.

If you use MS to play Eternal Return, please carefully read the following steps to streamline the transfer and avoid any inconveniences. Additionally, please make sure to read the precautions before transferring your account.

* A Steam account with Eternal Return is required to transfer your game information.
* If you do not have a Steam account, you must make one before transferring.
* You must create an Eternal Return nickname with your Steam account in order to transfer.
* Cancellation is not possible after transfer to Steam is complete.
