A notice was posted to the Japanese 3DS eShop and pointed out to the site no later than May 19th, 2022 that Mysterious Joker: The Phantom Thief Who Crosses Time & the Lost Gem (Kaitou Joker: Toki o Koeru Kaitou to Ushinawareta Houseki) would be removed from sale on May 31st, 2022 at 10:00 JST.
The title was released in June of 2015 and is based on the Mysterious Joker manga and anime series by Hideyasu Takahashi which looks to have run its course by 2017. Seven years later and the licensing between Shogakukan/Mysterious Joker Project and Bandai NAMCO had likely expired. The game remains available on physical media.
