Mini Motor Racing EVO was delisted from Steam on December 10th, 2019. In a brief statement posted to the game’s Steam Community forum on December 6th, developer The Binary Mill explained:
Mini Motor Racing EVO is retiring.
We are removing the MMR Evo from Steam as we have bigger and better plans for the franchise in the not too distant future. Thanks to everyone who supported the game over the past several years. We look forward to sharing what’s next soon.
If you have purchased MMR Evo and require any support now or in the future, please don’t hesitate to contact us via https://thebinarymill.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new – we will continue to support the game as best we can moving forward.
Just a few weeks later in December, The Binary Mill released Mini Motor Racing X exclusively on the PlayStation 4. In April of 2020 they began working on a Steam port of the title set for release on June 24th, 2020. Ahead of this release, it appears that owners of Mini Motor Racing EVO on Steam will receive Mini Motor Racing X for free or at a deep discount.
