Dreadnought shutdown pushed back to July 11th

Developer Six Foot originally announced back on December 15th that Dreadnought would be shutting down on March 19th but they tweeted out just yesterday with a bit of a reprieve. After “careful consideration” the studio has pushed the deadline back to July 11th (2pm CDT) and will give all players some huge boosts to XP and rewards so that the remaining players and fans can see more of the content before it’s all gone.

After careful consideration, we have decided to extend the sunset period to July 11, 2023, 2:00 pm CDT. This means that you will be able to continue playing beyond the original sunset date of March 19 but with reduced live ops support.

To show our appreciation for your support and loyalty, we implemented a permanent 200% bonus to XP and Credits from match rewards, effective immediately. We hope this added bonus will make your gaming experience even more enjoyable.

We understand that this may be bittersweet news for some of you, but we hope that this extension will give you  more time to enjoy the game and create more great memories before the end. Thank you for being a valued member of the Dreadnought community!

The game’s homepage as well as its Steam and PlayStation Store pages have yet to be updated with the July 11th date but it’s safe to assume the news applies to both versions. Thanks to Needles078 for submitting the update. I’ve updated the Watch List calendar and we’ll have a page up on the site later.
