Blade of Darkness returns to sale after seven years with new HD Remaster

Blade of Darkness, the 2001 PC exclusive action-RPG from Rebel Act Studios and Codemasters hasn’t been available digitally for years. It was unexpectedly pulled from GOG.com in October of 2014, removing it from the one digital storefront where it was ever released for download. This presumably happened as Codemasters moved away from supporting their non-racing titles.

Fortunately, Blade of Darkness will finally be making a comeback this October. The 2021 “HD Remaster” comes from publisher SNEG with port work from Fire Falcom and General Arcade and will include the typical bells and whistles: 4K resolutions, widescreen support, and minimal interface tweaks. The updated release will be hitting both Steam and GOG.com in a few month’s time.
