Publisher don’t usually go out of their way to announce the end of online services for their older titles, but some of them do maintain server status pages. Electronic Arts is one of them and Polygon recently noticed the end-of-service dates for a few of their older sports titles.
On March 9th, 2020 Fight Night Round 4 — the penultimate entry in the boxing series and long-standing fan favorite — will lose its online features. On March 10th, 2020 the already-extinct 3 on 3 NHL Arcade will also lose its online features, becoming slightly more dead to fans who already owned the game.
Fortunately, Fight Night Round 4 remains available on physical media and can still be downloaded on Xbox 360 alongside its DLC. The dates have been added to the Watch List calendar.
