Earlier this week Sony announced the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, a gussied-up $50 bundle featuring Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, coming to PlayStation 5 on January 28th, and to PC at a later date. Current owners of either game on PlayStation 4 (digital or physical) can upgrade to the new collection on PS5 for $10, but alongside the announcement Sony also delisted the standalone digital versions of these games.
Previously available for $20 each, this would’ve let you get the PS5’s Legacy of Thieves Collection for as little as $30 after buying the upgrade. Now with these titles delisted individually, the only option for new buyers is the $40 Digital Bundle on PlayStation 4, bringing the cost to upgrade in line with the new collection’s MSRP of $49.99. With the digital path removed, the next cheapest option is tracking down a retail copy of either Uncharted 4 or The Lost Legacy and buying the $10 PS5 upgrade from there.
Thanks to everyone who pointed out the news.
