NCSoft announced this past Wednesday that their free-to-play, 30-player “action brawl” title, Battle Crush, will be shutting down on November 29th. The news comes as a bit of a surprise as Battle Crush launched on Android and iOS just this past March and on Steam and Nintendo Switch at the end of June. Looking at the game’s stats on SteamDB it appears that there were fewer than 100 daily players in the game starting just a few months after its release. That’s not a promising figure when you need a 30-person lobby to fill up a single match.
