Skylar & Plux leaves GOG.com at 9am EST today, already delisted everywhere else

Skylar & Plux: Adventure On Clover, an early 2000s-inspired 3D platformer from Right Nice Games, disappeared on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One around June 18th. While we (and the developers) have been waiting for an explanation from publisher Grip Digital, they’ve gone and pulled the game from Steam and now the GOG.com version will be delisted later this morning at 9am EST.

We would like to announce that we are closing sales of the Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island title on Steam, we really appreciate everyone that joined us on the journey on Clover Island and we wish you the best!

With gratitude,
Grip Digital

Grip Digital announcement on Steam

This move is likely part of Grip Digital’s “crucial change in […] structures and business vision” that the publisher quietly tweeted about last July. It resulted in several delistings this past Fall and there are probably some more out there that we haven’t had time to spot. As for Skylar & Plux, the team at Right Nice Games are equally as surprised to see their game being delisted and are looking to see what can be done to get it back online. Hopefully it will return to sale in the future but for now GOG.com is the last place to pick it up.

Thanks to Dimchkin for the continued updates on this one. I’ll have a page up soon for the game.
