Paranormal State: Poison Spring leaves Steam at the end of March

Publisher Legacy Games announced on March 7th that Paranormal State: Poison Spring will be leaving Steam at the end of the month with one final sale beginning the week of March 28th. The brief announcement follows:

Hello Paranormal Researchers!

Unfortunately we must bid you a fond farewell. Our rights to distribute Paranormal State: Poison Spring is expiring. Those who already own the game on Steam will still be able to play. And we’re having one final sale starting the week of March 28th before the game goes offline, so here’s your final chance!

Thanks for enjoying the game and solving the mystery over the years!

It looks like Legacy’s publishing deal with developer Teyon has expired after nearly a decade. The game has also disappeared from Big Fish Games but it’s hard to tell if it was still available after 2019. No news of similar delistings on Steam from Legacy Games or Teyon were found at the time of writing. Thanks to Raț Florin for pointing out the news. The Watch List calendar has been updated for the end of the month.
