Delisting
Metro 2033 was delisted from Steam no later than October 26th, 2018. On the day before it was available to download for free to anyone on Steam. Metro 2033 was delisted approximately four years after the release of the remake, Metro 2033 Redux, published by Deep Silver after the dissolution of THQ.
The delisting is likely due to lingering ties to the THQ-published original or fear of confusion between the two version of the game. The Xbox 360 version has remained available to download since release and is now published by Deep Silver.
