Golden Light of Rose was released on Steam in October of 2022 as a free prologue/demo of the full game Golden Light. As described on Steam, “it features most of main game’s mechanics with a unique BLOOD FLOWERS biome different from Golden Light” so it’s a fairly unique offering and not just a straight demo. Developer Mr. Pink announced on February 21st that Golden Light of Rose will be leaving Steam on March 9th so claim the free entry before it’s gone.
With the release of Golden Light of Rose, we aimed to give both new and seasoned players a fresh experience of the game’s unique world and gameplay. Our hope was to entice new audiences to discover the enchanting world of Golden Light while offering a fresh narrative branch for existing fans.
Thanks to our team’s hard work and dedication, we successfully accomplished these goals. The prologue attracted a host of new players to the Golden Light universe, while our loyal fanbase eagerly embraced the new content. We’re thrilled to report that the feedback has been very positive, and we’re grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way.
As we look ahead, we’ve decided to close the prologue in the Steam store on March 9, 2023. This will allow us to focus our efforts on future projects and continue to bring new experiences to our players. If you haven’t had a chance to explore the Golden Light universe, now is the time to do so. And for those who have already ventured into the game’s world, we invite you to discover even more in the Golden Light meat world.
