It looks like Electronic Arts has begun shoring up the titles it absorbed from Codemasters and has delisted seven older F1 games from Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. Pointed out by NeoGAF user ArtHands this past Friday, all of the games were removed from Steam on the same day and likely on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One around the same time. The titles are:
- F1 Race Stars
- F1 2012
- F1 2014
- F1 2015
- F1 2016
- F1 2017
- F1 2018
This leaves F1 2019, 2020, and 2021 as the most recent releases still available on PC and consoles. Two portable releases — F1 2009 for PSP and F1 2011 for Vita — remain available as of March 14th in Europe and North America, but who knows for how much longer. These latest casualties join F1 2010, 2011, and 2013 that were delisted years ago by Codemasters.
Thanks to Dinahfan1Luid77 who pointed out the news. I’ll be adding the rest of these to the site in time.
