Posted on Friday, the very brief notice on the Steam Store page for Brave Survivors reads simply “the suspension will be on February 10, 2023”. An earlier forum post asked about the game’s Japanese language support and the equally short reply, translated from Chinese, was “if we live, there will be Japanese or Korean”. Clearly developer blink was already uncertain about the game’s future.
Launched last September in Early Access, Brave Survivors bears a striking resemblance to Vampire Survivors in look and style except it features a slightly isometric perspective. Videos on the Steam Store page feature the large buttons and on-screen controls of a mobile game and isn’t flagged with support for many features like controllers or Steam Deck compatibility.
