Developer Robot Squid announced on Sunday, March 3rd that Big Fat Battle will be shutting down in just a few day’s time on March 6th. The announcement only states that the decision was made for “various reasons” but since the game’s Early Access launch in November of 2023 and even after its free-to-play transition in December, active player counts have remained in the single digits.
We hope this message finds you well. It is with a heavy heart that we must share some important news regarding the future of Big Fat Battle. After careful consideration, we regret to inform you that the servers for Big Fat Battle will be permanently shut down on 03/06/24.
This decision was not made lightly, and we understand that Big Fat Battle has been a source of enjoyment and camaraderie for many of you. Unfortunately, due to various reasons, maintaining the servers has become unsustainable.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every player who has been a part of the Big Fat Battle community. We understand that this news may be disappointing, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. We want to assure you that our team is here to support you during this transition.
