Delisting

SoulCalibur: Broken Destiny was delisted on PlayStation Portable in Australia, Europe, and Japan no later than October of 2020 based on our recordings of the PlayStation Store at the time. The game’s website in the UK was handled by publisher Ubisoft and was last confirmed to be online in June of 2019. The game may have been delisted between this date and October of 2020.

The cause for the territorial delisting is uncertain. Possibilities include changes to Namco’s corporate structure over the years and across the regions. Some older releases are credited simply to ‘Namco’ where newer titles read ‘Namco Bandai Games’, neither of which represent the current entity of ‘Bandai NAMCO’. The split between the American and European divisions may also explain how we end up with a game delisted in some regions but not others, or delistings that are a year or more apart.

Exclusively in North America, the game was available to PlayStation Plus subscribers between April and June of 2013.
