Cult classic Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse is making a return to Steam on March 16th with new releases in tow for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and Nintendo Switch. The update includes “modern resolutions” as well as controller tweaks and Trophies/Achievements. It sounds similar in scope to Aspyr’s recent ports of fan-favorite Star Wars titles like Jedi Knight II, Jedi Academy, and Episode 1: Racer.
Stubbs has a bit of history when it comes to delistings as well. The game was once available to download on Xbox 360 as one of the few digital Xbox Originals but was delisted around 2012. On Steam it was available as early as 2007, was also delisted around 2012, returned for a bit in 2013, and then left again in November of 2014. Hopefully Aspyr’s new release is a little more stable and sticks around on all platforms for years to come.
Thanks to @PeiceofNick for pointing out the news. Our current game page will be updated once the new release is out.
