GOG.com announced yesterday that both titles in the cult favorite The Suffering series will be leaving their platform in just over a week on September 1st. Originally released on PC and consoles in the early 2000’s, The Suffering and The Suffering: Ties That Bind later launched on GOG.com in 2017 with Warner Bros. Interactive as the publisher.
Hey everyone! As much as I hate posting such information, we have an upcoming delisting.
Per the publisher’s request both The Suffering (https://www.gog.com/game/the_suffering) and The Suffering: Ties That Bind (https://www.gog.com/game/the_suffering_ties_that_bind) will leave our store on September 1st (no exact hour yet).
Grab the game before that if you’re interested. And as always, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

With GOG.com being the only way to legally and digitally purchase the games today it might be worth scooping them up before they’re gone. It’s possible that they’re being removed ahead of some kind of remaster but to date Warner Bros. really hasn’t embraced their old IP with re-releases.
