The Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths was delisted on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in North America in September of 2018, according to a post from GameFAQs. The cause for the delisting is uncertain but falls within a known period where several releases were being removed from the platform, allegedly because Nintendo of America was no longer renewing developer/publisher licenses. As Ynnis Interactive’s only release, they may have chosen not to continue supporting the title in North America. The Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths remained available on the European eShop until it closed down on March 27, 2023.
As of this writing, The Mysterious Cities of Gold: Secret Paths remains available exclusively on Steam.
