Steam Announcement – July 08, 2024
Although there is plenty of legal boilerplate text in the announcement it doesn’t actually give a reason for the decision to shut the game down after less than a year in operation. Looking at the active player stats for the Steam version however tells a familiar story: a reasonable spike at launch followed by months of decline until less than 100 active players are in the game on a daily basis.
