Delisting

Bandai NAMCO announced on their website and SoulCalibur Twitter account on June 12, 2023 that SoulCalibur V would be delisted on June 19th. The game would be delisted on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on June 19th in Japan, but would not be removed in the west until June 23rd.

Valiant Warriors – Soul Calibur V is taking its final curtain call on the stage of history and will be sunset on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on June 19, 2023. The base game and all associated DLC will no longer be available for purchase. Thank you for your continued support.

SoulCalibur V was most likely delisted due to an expired character license to Ezio from Assassin’s Creed, who was prominently featured in the game.

About the Game

SOULCALIBUR V, the latest chapter in the premier weapons-based fighting series, continues the epic story of the legendary soul swords 17 years after the events of SOULCALIBUR IV. SCV features a fluid 3D battle system, a new battle gauge that enables devastating attacks, increased freedom in character creation and a guest appearance by Ezio Auditore, the Master Assassin from “Assassin’s Creed®”.
