Delisting
The original game, Shin Sangoku Musou Online, was replaced by Shin Sangoku Musou Online Z in 2013 and 2014. It was then brought over to PlayStation platforms, first relaunching on PlayStation 3 in February of 2014, then debuting on PlayStation 4 and later on PlayStation Vita for the first time. Shin Sangoku Musou Online Z continued receiving updates from 2016 through 2018 as reported on by the Japanese PlayStation Blog.
It appears that Koei Tecmo rather promptly shut down the Vita version of the game on or close to March 16th, 2017. Archive.org captures of the game’s homepage show that between March 16th and 24th the PlayStation Store link to the Vita release was removed and a refund page was added. This page outlined that any player who had in-game currency as of March 16th, 2017 would be eligible for a refund if they sent account information to Tecmo Koei.
Then between May 17th and 23rd, 2019 the game’s homepage was updated again to remove the PlayStation Store link to the PlayStation 3 release of the game. On August 14th, 2019 a new upload was added to Archive.org claiming to contain “the last version of Shin Sangoku Musou Online Z’s PS3 version before it was closed”. It is assumed that the PlayStation 3 version was shut down closer to its removal from the official homepage in May.
Years later, on December 15th, 2021 Koei Tecmo announced plans to shut down the remaining PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game:

About the Game
Google Translated from the game’s homepage:
Dynasty Warriors Online” is an “Ikki Tousen MMO Action” game where many players can participate online and experience the action of warriors. Players become warlords living in the era of the Three Kingdoms, meet various friends and rivals, and fight fierce battles to create their own story of the Three Kingdoms.
Point 1 – Even if it becomes an online game, the greatest feature of the “Dynasty Warriors” series, “Exhilarating Ikki Tousen action” remains the same. The feeling of overwhelming a large number of enemies one after another is unique to “Musou”.
In addition, in “Dynasty Warriors Online”, which supports online, hot clashes break out between players competing for bases! Up to 4 vs. 4 battles are more thrilling than ever, with the importance of tactics such as cooperation with allied players and diversions from enemy players.
Point 2 – Players are the protagonists of DYNASTY WARRIORS ONLINE. You can freely create a player character that will be your alter ego, operate that character, and live in the world of the Three Kingdoms.
Player characters can create their favorite character from over 100,000 combinations of face, hairstyle, skin color, voice, etc. Weapons to use can also be freely equipped from among many types such as spears, swords, halberds, and axes.
Point 3 – Player characters become stronger through two growth systems: strengthening themselves and training weapons. Self-strengthening is temporary and only valid for the battles you participate in. It is a growth system that allows you to acquire items called Sentan during battles and strengthen yourself in exchange for them.
Weapon training, on the other hand, is a growth system with lasting effects. By using training items for weapons, you can improve their performance. The direction of training is free. You can create weapons that look the same but have completely different performance.
Point 4 – Interacting with other players is also an important point in the online game “Dynasty Warriors Online”. There will be encounters with comrades who can entrust their backs, and tough rivals will also appear.
One of the fun things about this game is that you can deepen your bonds with those people through many battles.
