Ragnarok: Fallen Legends reported to go offline in 4 days on July 15th

Cultivation Studio announced just this morning that Ragnarok: Fallen Legends, their Early Access turn-based card battler from 2022, will be shut down in just a few days on July 15th. The brief announcement this morning follows:

Hi everyone,

We regret to inform you that we have decided to retire this app. Servers will be shut down on July 15th.

Thank you for playing Ragnarok: Fallen Legends!

Steam Announcement – July 11, 2024

The game was previously slated to be shut down last July after some periods of reported downtime by players but was put on hold until today. Although the game has a single-player roguelike mode the wording of the announcement (then and now) implies that the game requires a server check at launch and so will likely become unplayable after the 15th. If you’re still interested though, Ragnarok: Fallen Legends is still on sale for the next few days at $0.99. We’ve added the date to the Watch List calendar and will have a page up on the site later.
