Cyberstep announced on March 18th that the dedicated PC version of Onigiri will be shut down on June 11th, 2021. This does not affect the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, or Steam versions of the game at this time. The Xbox One version of Onigiri was previously shut down on July 31st, 2020. Cyberstep’s announcement and timeline follows:
We regret to inform you that, after much deliberation, we have decided to end service for the USPC version Onigiri, effective 14:00 on June 11, 2021 (Friday) JST. To everyone that has played and is still playing USPC Onigiri, we extend our deepest gratitude and also our condolences for the outcome of this decision. The schedule concerning closure will proceed as follows.
■ Service Closure Schedule
March 19, 2021 14:00 JST: New User Registration will not be permitted
March 19, 2021 14:00 JST: Sale of Onigiri Coins will stop
June 11, 2021 14:00 JST: USPC Onigiri game service will end
July 9, 2021 14:00 JST: Support mails for USPC will no longer be accepted
August 6, 2021 14:00 JST: Support mail for USPC will no longer receive replies*The above schedule may be changed where necessary. If the schedule needs to be amended, we will post notifications.
■ Concerning Paid Onigiri Coins
Onigiri Coins which you have purchased may be used until the end of service on June 11th, but will no longer be able to be used after the game service has ended. Please be aware that we cannot issue items, bonuses, or refunds of any kind in exchange for unused Onigiri coins at the end of service. We recommend that you use your OC before this time.■ Concerning game data transfer

Please be aware that we will not be able to transfer game data from the USPC version to any other version at service closure on account of technical limitations. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
