Dedicated dance fans and Achievement hunters take note, Ubisoft recently announced that online services for three older Just Dance titles will be shut down on June 30th, 2023. These services were previously retired in 2018 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii. Now players on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Wii U, and Steam (2017 only) have just about a year to finish up any online activities in the following titles:
From 30 June 2023 online services will be unavailable for a series of older Just Dance titles:
Just Dance 2016
Just Dance 2017
Just Dance 2018
Please be aware that after this date Just Dance Unlimited subscriptions will be incompatible with these games. You will, however, still be able to access the offline features of these games.
Ubisoft Support Announcement
The change will remove access to features like the World Dance Floor and Challengers modes where players could compete against the high scores of others from around the world. The integration with the Just Dance Unlimited subscription service also means that access to some songs in each title will be permanently removed after the deadline.
I’ve added the date to the Watch List calendar. Thanks to Wakayama_PT for pointing out the news.
