[UPDATE 10/12/22] The games were delisted but services remain online for now
Electronic Arts recently revised their online services page with news that online features for DiRT 4 and DiRT Rally will be ending on October 3rd, 2022. The games will also be leaving the EA Play library on the same date.
There’s no confirmation that the games will be delisted after that point — much of their content will still be playable offline — but the series has a track record of being removed from sale between three and seven years after each release. DiRT 4 and DiRT Rally are both within that age range and so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them delisted at any time beginning in October.
For the time being DiRT 4 remains available on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and TenCent’s We Game service (that’s one I didn’t know about until this announcement). DiRT Rally is still available on Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Oculus. Both titles are also out there on physicalmedia as well. I’ve added the date to the Watch List calendar and will have a page up on the site later. Thanks to Wakayama_PT for pointing out the news.
