Among the roster of titles on discount in Capcom’s current Golden Week sale are a few that will unfortunately not see the other side. Discount watchdog Wario64 shared the news earlier today that the Steam Store pages for Dark Void, Dark Void Zero, and Flock! all carry the same message below:
Capcom will be discontinuing digital sales of [GAME NAME] on Steam Store on May 8th 5:30PM PDT. Customers who have purchased the title prior to its delisting date may still be able to enjoy the game into the future depending on their PC operating system’s ability to continue running the game.
Capcom Steam Store Page Update – April 24, 2024
The three titles are on a 50% off discount until May 8th and of the lot, Dark Void Zero is the one to grab. The game was only released digitally and both its iOS and DSiWare counterparts were delisted years ago. The Steam version is probably the most convenient place to check it out for anyone still intrigued by the early entry in the “de-make” sub-genre.
Flock! and Dark Void are also on sale at a steep discount on the Xbox Store until May 5th but it’s uncertain if they’ll also be delisted after the sale period. On the Xbox 360 Marketplace both games remain at full price. On PlayStation 3 Dark Void has disappeared at some point since we last checked on it in 2022 leaving Flock! as the only title of the three available on the platform.
Thanks to everyone who pointed out the news today. We’ve added the date to the Watch List calendar and will have a page up on the site later.
