Delisting
Developer Woolf originally announced on March 19th, 2023 that Atom Fishing 2 would be shutting down on April 30th. After the game didn’t disappear on that day Woolf posted another update (translated from Russian) on May 2nd announcing that they were aiming to shut the title down on August 1st. Ahead of that deadline Atom Fishing 2 was removed from Steam on June 20th, 2023.
Hello, friends. I regret to inform you about the decision to close the project. Unfortunately, the current situation does not allow us to support the game anymore, which has been running at a loss for a long time. The game servers will be closed on April 30.
Update: The deadline for closing the project is postponed to August 1st. Until this date, the game servers will work.
Steam Announcement – March 19, 2023
Atom Fishing 2 predates the release of Fisher Online, also from Woolf and publisher R-Age, but likely required more active players and resources to maintain, suggesting that this was the reason behind the decision to shut the game down.
About the Game
Atom Fishing 2 is a dynamically developed MMO fishing simulator with elements of survival and RPG that takes place in a postapocalyptic world. Here you can not just catch the fish, but also choose what to do next with it – to process it under crafting, sell it or give it as part of daily tasks. You can create new rods and then upgrade and modernize it to catch bigger and rare fish.
Be also aware! In our post-nuclear ponds there are many different fish – together with ordinary species you can easily catch some mutants!
