Delisting
The original digital release of Assassin’s Creed III has been confirmed to be delisted at various times across numerous platforms. On Steam it was confirmed to be delisted by March 29th, 2019, the same day that the Remastered version of the game was released. Around this same time it was also delisted on PC from Ubisoft’s own Uplay store.
On Nintendo Wii U it is likely that the game remained available until the eShop was closed on March 27th, 2023. By April of 2023 it was reported that Xbox One and Xbox 360 users were either seeing that the game had already been delisted or they were having problems completing the purchase if it was still displayed. In researching this post we confirmed that the game was no longer listed for sale on either Xbox platform by late November of 2023.
Also in researching this post we confirmed that the Japanese PlayStation 3 version of the game was delisted by late November of 2023 but remained available at least in Europe and North America. This Japanese delisting likely took place before 2023 but we were not able to find any other confirmation at this time.
