Delisting
On October 6th, 2015, Twitter user lifelower tweeted that several Digital Reality releases (SkyDrift, Dead Block, Bang Bang Racing) had been delisted on Xbox 360. This aligns with the end of licensing terms between Digital Reality and Xbox co-publisher, Bandai NAMCO.
Digital Reality was shut down in September 2013; their homepage is currently unavailable and their Facebook page remains untouched since 2013. On February 2nd, 2016, Nordic Games announced they had acquired several Digital Reality properties through their subsidiary Nordic Games Licensing AB. Bang Bang Racing remains available on PlayStation Network across North American and European territories with the publisher listed as Digital Reality Publishing. On Steam it is published by Kalypso Media Digital. The property was also licensed to Atomicom who published two versions of Bang Bang Racing on Android in 2011, which have both since been delisted.
It appears neither Nordic Games nor Bandai NAMCO has sought to renew the Digital Reality Xbox Live Arcade titles after Nordic Games’ acquisition.
