Delisting

Yggdra Union: We’ll Never Fight Alone was delisted from the North American PlayStation Store for PlayStation Portable and Vita no earlier than March 21st, 2019. This is the latest date that a Google Cache archive shows the title available and alongside two other Sting developed RPGs published by Atlus. An anonymous source who submitted the game to the site added the following detail:

“I noticed three PSP games developed by Sting Entertainment and published by Atlus were delisted very recently. I emailed Atlus and got the following response: ‘I can’t get into the details of this, but it was intentional. There is always a chance that the games will return, but if they were taken down for a reason, those chances aren’t very good.'”

Although vague, it does seem to imply that Atlus is behind the delisting and not Sting or even Sony. Like other delisted titles from Atlus, the removal could be due to corporate changes between Atlus, Atlus USA, and/or Sega. It is worth nothing that Sting announced an updated mobile port of the game to be released in Japan in the Spring of 2019 alongside a new release on the Nintendo Switch.

About the Game

Strike at the enemy with more than menus when turn-based strategy meets real-time action! Build your strongest deck of cards to rain down special attacks, monitor the aggression meter to adjust the power of each hit, and create troop unions that will overwhelm the enemy’s numbers. With 3 different endings plus a hidden ending and secret characters, there’s tons of treasure for a true gamer to uncover.

Yggdra Union comes to the PlayStation®Portable system (PSP) beautifully remade and loaded with enhancements, including fully remastered audio and visuals (featuring the artwork of famed character designer and manga artist Satoko Kiyuzuki), bilingual Japanese and English language tracks, a widescreen aspect ratio, additional difficulty settings, new unlockable content, and more!
