I think this is the biggest delisting announcement I’ve ever seen for GOG.com. They announced earlier today that 27 titles from Meridian4 will be removed from the platform in just a few days on September 20th at 1pm UTC (9am EST). GOG.com team member king_kunat shared the update adding “as much as it pains me to say it, I have some saddening news to share,” adding that “I can’t share any more details about it,” and that “I know you hate to hear that. The same goes for us”. The 27 titles in question are:
- Boom Blaster
- Boss Rush Bundle
- Bucket Knight
- Creepy Tale 3
- Edge of Galaxy
- Full Moon Rush
- Ghost Blood
- Ghoul Castle
- Hero Survival
- Heroines
- Judas
- Kill Fish
- Oxygen Cocktail
- Picklock
- Probo Rush
- Red Dust
- Replikator
- Starless
- Strike Force Kitty
- The Dark Prophecy
- The Wizard And The Slug
- Ultragoodness
- Ultragoodness 2
- Ultragoodness Bundle
- Viruz
- Warforwards
- Witchcrafty
Over the past few months Meridian4 has handed ownership of these titles back to their developers on Steam where they remain available today. It’s possible that the games will reappear on GOG.com in the future but that will now be on an individual basis, game by game. Meridian4 has been shedding titles for a while now. Almost exactly one year ago to the day they pulled a smaller handful of titles off of GOG.com and the Devious Dungeons series is the only place on Steam where their name currently appears.
