The closure of the 3DS/WiiU eShop in March of 2023 is still a ways off but there’s no reason to wait if you’re planning on doing some farewell shopping. Delistings are expected over the coming months as publishers wrap up their support of the platforms and the longer we wait, the more likely we are to miss something interesting or exclusive. Like I did when Sony originally announced plans to shut down the PlayStation Store, I wanted to provide some links to lists, recaps, and resources for those poring over the thousands of 3DS, DSi, Wii U, and Virtual Console titles before next March.
One quick reminder because this is something I didn’t realize at the time of Nintendo’s initial announcement: Credit card and eShop code redemption will be disabled on 3DS and Wii U by August 29th, 2022. However, anyone whose Nintendo Network ID is linked to their current Nintendo Account can still add funds on a Switch or through the web and continue to buy content on 3DS and Wii U until the eShops are closed in 2023. And now onto the links!

Super simple listing with lots of unique categories. Look down the right hand column for digital exclusives. Just above the list are buttons to toggle some of their filters on and off. There’s not much more detail here but if you just want a big list to start digging into, here ya go.
GameFAQs – DSiWare titles • 3DS eShop • Wii U eShop
People only think about GameFAQs for cheats and guides but the site has been gathering release information longer than most. I’ve used it as the basis of my research because they break out physical and digital release dates across regions. Use the links above to browse DSi, 3DS, and Wii U eShop titles. Don’t forget the Region and Distribution filters on each page if you’re looking for a specific territory or DLC.
PSPrices.com – 3DS Prices • Wii U Prices
Maybe not the best place to browse every title available, but a great way to see what’s on sale. If you’ve only got a set amount to spend, sort by lowest price and start browsing.
Cheap Ass Gamer
The deal-tracking site has years worth of discussions on what’s good and what’s on sale for pretty much every platform. Here’s a link to their forum search results for the “eShop”.
Video Games Chronicle
Like they did when Sony announced plans to shutter the PlayStation Store, VGC was quick to post counts and noteworthy exclusives for both 3DS and Wii U eShops. It’s not a comprehensive list but a good place to look for major hits you might want to grab before they’re gone.
Nintendo Life
Like VGC, you won’t find a comprehensive account of every eShop game that’s disappearing, but the site will surely clue you into dozens of noteworthy releases. They’ve got separate pages with the ‘23 Best Wii U‘ and ‘29 Best 3DS‘ eShop titles.
A Wario denier’s archive of Nintendo.com URLs
If you happen to be running a website dedicated to delisted games and are looking for links to the official Nintendo.com pages for nearly 6,000 releases, you’ve come to the right Google Sheet. With the eShop announcement, Nintendo of America removed or broke these URLs on their website but I’ve copied every link that was available as of mid-February. You’ll still need to copy the links yourself and search for them on Archive.org to see the pages, but it serves as a fairly robust and straightforward list of games for each platform.
Wikipedia – List of DSiWare games and apps • List of eShop content
Trusty ol’ Wikipedia, you know the deal. Check out the pages for complex tables of titles, release dates, and territories. The List of eShop Content is especially overwhelming, even including a breakdown of which classic platforms are available through the Virtual Console. If you’re looking for something a little more straightforward, check out the Wikipedia page for Wii U and 3DS titles, although these also include retail releases.
