Delisting
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light was delisted on Nintendo Switch on March 31st, 2021. That deadline date was confirmed shortly after the announcement of the game in December of 2020 as part of the 30th Anniversary of the original Famicom/NES title. Like the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., the limited-time availability and the elaborate physical edition were intended as unique ways to celebrate the birth of the Fire Emblem franchise.
Unfortunately, the physical edition does not include a physical copy of the game, only a download code for the Nintendo Switch eShop. Nintendo has stressed that owners of the game will still be able to re-download the title in the future and that download codes can still be redeemed for a copy of the game.
