Delisting
The original releases of Muv-Luv, Muv-Luv Alternative, and Muv-Luv VR were delisted on Steam on January 14th, 2018. Although promised to be relisted “within the week” Muv-Luv and Alternative did not return to Steam until February 28th, 2018 as separate new releases published by aNCHOR Inc. Muv-Luv VR has not returned to Steam.
The cause for the delistings is clearly a change in publishing rights between age, Muv-Luv’s creators, and the various partners they have worked with to bring the game to release. VNs Now has a good summary of the situation from March 2018 and a few theories behind what might have happened.

Muv-Luv VR is a short, free demo which simulates the alternate world of Muv-Luv.
