Nearly a year on, Ninja Theory has announced that active development of their multiplayer hero shooter, Bleeding Edge, has come to an end. This doesn’t mean the game is shutting down right away but it does bump it into Watch List territory. The team’s tweet from January 28th follows:
With the studio now focusing on our new projects (Senua’s Saga, Project Mara & The Insight Project) we have decided that there will be no further content updates for Bleeding Edge. The game is still playable on Xbox and PC. Thank you to the fans & keep teaming up & causing chaos!

Like they said, Bleeding Edge will continue to be available to play on Steam and Xbox One but the $30 price tag isn’t looking as inviting knowing that no new content will be coming to the game. For those with Game Pass it might be a little more tempting as Bleeding Edge is currently ready to download and play as part of Microsoft’s subscription service.
