Thanks to @MadCanuk for reminding me that Netflix is involved in the video game biz and that their small slate of releases are perfectly primed for delistings. While Stranger Things continues to be a strong brand that Netflix has a sizeable stake in, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is in a much more tenuous position. The 2019 Netflix series of the same name sure conjured up nostalgia, but apparently not enough viewers for the studio to renew it for even a second season.
Netflix confirmed in late September that the show would not be returning and since the Dark Crystal property is licensed from the Jim Henson Company, there’s surely a timer ticking down somewhere behind the scenes. On the plus side, I wouldn’t expect a delisting for at least another three to four years and there are plenty of platforms to find the game on: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, and GOG.com.
