Delisting
The GOG.com team announced on October 20, 2023 that Maritime Calling would be delisted from GOG four days later on October 24, only a year and a half after release. No clear reason was given by either the developers or the publisher, but claims for it effectively being abandonware as a cause could easily have been made due to virtually no new content and little support being offered for quite some time leading up to the removal.
No announcement was made regarding Epic Game’s delisting of Maritime Calling from their store, though it can be confirmed to have occurred no later than October 2023.
Maritime Calling is still available for purchase from Steam. The original GOG and Epic Games Store pages can still be viewed, courtesy of the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine.
