Delisting

Daytona USA was delisted from Xbox 360 on February 7, 2023 as a part of 46 games Microsoft delisted that day in North America. We previously covered the news in January 2023. Despite being backwards compatible, the game was also delisted from Xbox One and Xbox Series around the same time. No reason has been provided for the delisting.

The game remains available on physical media in its original 1994 arcade cabinet form and digitally on PS3. Sega Saturn and Windows PC ports also remain physically available.

About the Game

Daytona USA was a revolutionary arcade racing game released by Sega for arcades in 1994. It was the first game to be released on the Sega Model 2 arcade system board. Players race around three different tracks while attempting to pass up to 39 other stock race cars. The arcade version was ported to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 in 2011.
