Delisting
Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe was delisted from Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 at some point between February 28th, 2021 and April 12th, 2022, based on Archive.org. While licensing is generally to blame for this type of delisting, no official reason has been given. It is noteworthy that Warner Bros now owns both the DC and Mortal Kombat IPs. (They have owned the DC IP since 1969 and the Mortal Kombat IP since 2009.)
The game remains available on physical media.
About the Game
Mortal Kombat is back in an crossover with characters from the famed world of DC! Select your character from 22 possible kombatants – 11 from Mortal Kombat and 11 from DC – then fight through an exciting and innovative story mode.
This game was the final entry in the franchise developed by Midway Games before the company went bankrupt in 2009. Warner Bros. Games now owns the Mortal Kombat IP.
