Delisting
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was delisted from Xbox 360 at some point between between April 15, 2024 and April 22, 2024, based on Archive.org. No reason has been given for the delisting, and it’s removal may, in fact, be a mistake. The backwards compatible digital version remains available on Xbox. A purchase there places the game on the Xbox 360’s Download History. However, attempting to download the game onto an Xbox 360 pops up code 800700E8 with the message “Sorry, there’s a problem with the Xbox service. Try again later. The digital version also remains available on Playstation 3 and Steam. It remains available on physical media as well.
About the Game
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is the sequel to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The single player campaign is centered around Task Force 141, who alongside the Delta Force and Special Air Service, hunt a Russian terrorist that leads the Russian Ultranationalist party.
The multiplayer experience returns bigger and better, loaded with new maps, modes and features. Co-Op play has evolved with all-new Spec-Ops missions and leaderboards, as well as Survival Mode, an action-packed combat progression.
