Delisting

The Oregon Trail was delisted from the Nintendo DSi Shop on March 31st, 2017 when Nintendo shut down the DSi Shop and announced that the game would not be transferable from a DSi to a 3DS. The Oregon Trail was reportedly one of the few DSiWare games that were never available to buy on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. The Oregon Trail was most likely unreleased on the 3DS eShop due to licensing restrictions regarding the Oregon Trail property.
