PlayStation website loses Party, Friends, and Trophy info on June 28th

I managed to catch the latest on Sony’s Important Notice page over the weekend since it’s been so frequently updated these past six months. Unfortunately, the newest change is another step backwards for PlayStation’s web-based offerings. The latest change pertains to the My PlayStation section at the top-right of the PlayStation.com homepage when you’re logged in:

As of 28th June 2021, the web feature MyPlayStation will no longer be supported. You can continue to access your Game Library, Parties, Friends, Trophies, Profile information on your PS4 and PS5 consoles, or via mobile on PS App. The Profile and Game Library information will also be available via web on the profile menu dropdown

It isn’t cause for delistings but I think a lot of us were hoping that Sony was improving the PlayStation.com experience, not whittling away more of its long-standing features. They did recently bring back the Wishlist and the ability to sort PlayStation Store results but it’s still a lacking experience. There continues to be no way to view screenshots or videos of the games despite them being hidden in the code for each page, and tracking down DLC for a title is confusing at best.

Like I said, it’s not causing anything to be delisted but since it popped up on their support page I figured I’d pass the news along for anyone who may still rely on those sections.
