Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor losing online features, Achievements December 31st [UPDATED]

[UPDATED 11/01/20] Sorry everyone, I completely conflated the two titles since they’re so similar. The post has been updated with the correct info. My apologies for the confusion!

Bleak and barren as it is, the land of Mordor is going to get even less lively starting December 31st, 2020. That is, the Mordor featured in Monolith Productions’ 2014 release of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. The game pages for the title on the PlayStation Store, Xbox.com, and Steam have recently been updated to inform that several online-enabled features will be switched off at the end of the year. The full details provided by WB Games reads:

Note: certain features for the Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor videogame will no longer be available beginning Dec. 31, 2020. Affected Features:

• The Nemesis Forge feature will no longer be available. Therefore, players will no longer be able to transfer their in-game Nemeses from Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to Middle-earth: Shadow of War.
• Vendetta missions and Leaderboards will no longer be available.
• WBPlay will no longer be available, but the epic runes “Orc Hunter” and “Gravewalker” will automatically be awarded to all players

The change won’t impact the game’s overall experience but it will limit the number of repeatable activities and lock you out of at least 1 Achievement/Trophy. If you’ve had the game on the back burner for a while, or if you still haven’t used the Nemesis Forge to bring your Orc rivals into Shadow of War, you might want to hurry. I’ve added the deadline date to the Watch List calendar. Thanks to @I8albert for pointing out the news.
