Delisting

Lonpos was delisted on Nintendo Wii no later than August 2011, according to a thread on NeoGAF. The game was most likely delisted due to expired licensing of the Lonpos board game to Nintendo and Genki.

About the Game

Place differently shaped pieces into a box and try to fill it completely using all of the pieces provided.

Looking for a puzzle game that anyone can play, but still offers plenty to master? Look no further than LONPOS, with its straight forward premise and large variety of puzzles to solve. Each puzzle revolves around a rectangular playing field of 55 spaces. Using a set of twelve pieces, the goal is to place every piece into the playing field, filling it completely. The higher the level, the more pieces need to be fit into the playing field correctly. Challenge yourself with two single-player modes or bring a friend into the game and choose from more modes which allow you to compete against or cooperate with the other person. When you think your skills are worthy, use Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to check out how you compare against other LONPOS players or download additional puzzles and backgrounds.

As of May 20, 2014, the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service for Nintendo DSi and Wii systems has been retired. Online features of this game are no longer available after this date but this game still provides an entertaining experience in offline mode.
