Sumo Digital and Focus Entertainment announced yesterday that Hood: Outlaws & Legends will be shutting down early next year. The eight-player PvPvE game set in a dark Robin Hood-inspired world launched on PC and consoles back in 2021. Judging by SteamDB player data the game had a strong start but quickly trailed off within months of release.
We regret to inform you that our game, Hood: Outlaws & Legends, will be ending service on February 18. After this date, the game, along with any Editions, DLCs, and Battle Pass items, will no longer be accessible.
This has been a difficult but necessary decision, and we understand it may be disappointing. The Hood teams deeply thank you for your support and dedication throughout this incredible adventure. We cherished every part of it and we hope your memories of Hood: Outlaws & Legends will be as treasured as ours.
As part of the scheduled shutdown process, you will find below two key dates with the termination steps:
October 16, 2024
- Digital and physical retail sales will stop
- Refunds will be offered to players who purchased the game 14 days prior to this announcement until the termination of sales
February 18, 2025
- End of service: Hood: Outlaws & Legends will no longer be playable
For any question about refunds or any other relevant topic, feel free to leave a comment to this Steam News.
