eFootball PES 2021 to be removed from Steam December 9th

Konami has announced that the previous iteration of its eFootball series, eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE, will be removed from sale on Steam on December 9th. In-game purchases end on the same day while online services will be shut down some time in the future. Konami’s full announcement follows:

This is a notice to inform you that eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE and eFootball PES 2021 LITE will be removed from Online Stores. More information is provided below.

<Steam: 12/09/2021>

・ eFootball PES 2021 SEASON UPDATE

・ eFootball PES 2021 LITE (free-to-play version)

*Applicable to Standard Edition and all Club Editions.

*As long as you have downloaded the game before 12/09/2021, you will still be able to install and play it, even after it has been removed from the store. If you decide to uninstall the game after this date, you will be able to download it again at any point in time from your library.

The end date of online service for eFootball PES 2021 (when servers will be permanently shut down) has yet to be determined, but it will be announced some time in the near future.
