Dynasty Warriors Online Z shuts down on PC, PlayStation 4 on Feb 24, 2022

As Koei Tecmo continues ramping up to the release of Dynasty Warriors 9: Empires on February 15th — and whatever comes next for the series — they’ve also taken a look back and decided to shut down one long-running entry in the franchise. Shin Sangoku Musou Online Z (aka Dynasty Warriors Online Z) has been running and regularly updated in Japan since it launched on PC in 2006. A PlayStation 3 release followed in 2010 with a dedicated Vita version in 2015 but they’ve each been shut down over the intervening years. The latest news came on December 15th when the team announced plans to shut down the remaining PC and PlayStation 4 versions of the game.
