After a brief advanced notice on July 27th from publisher KISS ltd both Guilty Gear X2 #Reload and Guilty Gear Isuka have been removed from Steam as of August 1st. Both titles had only been available since 2014 but according to KISS’s James Deputy they’ve been removed “due to the distribution rights reverting to the developer.” He adds that the delisting is “hopefully temporary” but doesn’t give any indication if KISS is seeking to renew the license with Arc System Works.

For the time being only Guilty Gear X2 #Reload remains available as a download exclusively for Xbox 360. Before you ask, no, it isn’t playable on Xbox One so you’ll have to dig out your 360 hardware or dig up a physical copy of the game on Xbox or PlayStation 2. Likewise, Guilty Gear Isuka was released on disc for Xbox and PlayStation 2.
